What authoritative sources say

Uncertainty is part of the safety picture.

NCCIH reports that it is not clear whether psilocybin microdosing is safe or effective. Its current public information describes reported concerns that can include sleep disruption, anxiety or depressed mood, physical discomfort, impaired focus, and other adverse effects. It also identifies serious concerns for some psychiatric conditions.

That summary is not a screening tool. A licensed clinician who knows the person, health history, medications, and jurisdiction is the appropriate source for individualized medical questions.
